For me this also solves the bug. But now -ao mpegpes doesn't work
properly of course.

If somebody is having an in-depth look into the mpegpes code, would it
be possible to have a look at the syncing code, too? I use -ao oss in
combination with --channels 6 in order to play DivX/Xvid files with AC3
sound over my Soundblaster Live 5.1 (using emu10k1 oss drivers). It's
hard to say but I have the feeling that most of the time the sound is a
little bit to early and the other times the sound is just perfectly in
sync. Maybe only a problem for me, maybe not :-)
