Noises while using AC3 over DVB

Mplayer makes loud additional noises, when playing any File with 
multichannel-sound (ac3,dts). The original output is also played, but in 
low volume. Stereo (pcm, mp3 and even DD2.0) is always played perfect!
Other dvb-programs like the DVD-plugin from VDR have no problems at all.

I use a Hauppauge Nexus Card 2.1 with the Kernel's DVB-driver (2.6.2) 
and the latest mplayer 1.0pre3.

Can anyone help? I have no idea how to fix it.
