How do i create /dev/mga_vid?

I have a Matrox G400 card and i do not know, how to make device /dev/mga_vid.
I have agpgart support compiled and supprot for Matrox card in my kernel, but i can't find or create thet device? Should i recompile kernel? And which options should i set to Y or M ???
