I've just found and subscribed to this list, and I would like to thank you for the work you're doing. The fault occurs in both linux 2.4 and 2.6, across several upgrades. I'm also having trouble with -vo xv and -vo sdl, both of which show the left half of the frame fine, while the right half is marred by (hazy) vertical black lines. -vo x11 works fine.
