I am recording audio stream in AAC format using mplayer with -dumpstream and -dumpfile options. Bitrate of audiostream is 48kbit/s. I stop recording by running kill command sending signal SIGHUP to mplayer process. A program which gets recorded for an hour has only 45 minutes of content when played back. Using a higher cache value of 1024K using '-cache 1024' command line option did not help either. For some reason the recorded audio stream has shorter time content than the amount of time recorded. I am using mplayer version 1.2 in Ubuntu Xenial. _______________________________________________ MPlayer-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mplayerhq.hu/mailman/listinfo/mplayer-users
