I did discover that if I hit the Pause key which is to the right
of the Scroll Lock key, I do get a location of x% and the file
keeps playing.  Looking at the .mplayer/input.conf and
/etc/mplayer/input.conf shows that the Pause key should just
pause so this may be a fluke response because I am playing 8-bit
unsigned audio at 8 KHZ.
