I guess a 1.0 release could include raw ac3 / dts playback? 

I don't think it should be that hard. The issues are packaging / padding
the frames properly, and outputing through the correct alsa device. Some
code could be reused from xine.

I haven't look at ogle since pre v8.3. Is the configuration handling
improved? I would like to add support for A52_ADJUST_LEVEL.
