format of VR_MANGR.IFO on DVD-RAM

Greetings...

I have a Panasonic DVD-RAM recorder that can record to DVD-R or DVD-RAM. 
The DVD-Rs are in the usual DVD format, but the DVD-RAM is a little 
different.

The cool thing about the DVD-RAM format is that you can edit it to bleep 
commercials, etc. Plus of course, the DVD-RAM drive in my Linux box can 
mount it as a UDF filesystem and play the video with xine.

Anyway, there are 3 files on it:
VR_MANGR.IFO - info file
VR_MANGR.BUP - backup of the IFO
VR_MOVIE.VRO - appears to be a standard MPEG2 file, playable with 
mplayer, xine, etc.

So I've Googled quite a bit, and come up with very few hits and no info 
on the format of the IFO file.  I think it's close (but not identical) 
to a DVD's VIDEO_TS.IFO file.

Does anyone have any code to parse it?  Right now I'm playing with 
libvdread to see if the VIDEO_TS.IFO routines will do so, but I'm not 
yet real familiar with the code.

If anyone wants a copy of the files to hack on, I can record a short 
segment and put it on my website.
