You're right. Changing 'window.video_area.x' to '0' makes it work with XShm. 
The display doesn't even appear to be 'clipped'. I don know where the problem 
comes from. It may be a bug in the Xserver or an extra sanity check which 
wasn't present before since it's a new Xserver. SUN has changed much stuff in 
XSun in Solaris 10 since Solaris 10 on i86pc now runs Xorg while it's still 
XSun on sparc. Maybe they still want to have the two remain compatible.

Do you want put a workaround in ogle for Solaris 10 (Sparc)?
