Hi guys, I've trawled through the archive, can't find the answer. I've compiled Ogle, and video plays ok, at 25 fps, but no sound. My Linux system is my own custom distro, really tiny, runs totally in a 64M ramdisk. The distro is called "Puppy" and is to be found at http://www.goosee.com/puppy Puppy just uses the sound drivers supplied with the kernel, and sound works fine, except for Ogle. I looked in oglerc and inserted <path>/dev/dsp</path> in the <drivers> section for sound, but makes no difference. When I play a video, the ac3 stream comes up, but there is an error message: ERROR [ogle_audio] odelay fail, falling back to clock sync ....or words to that effect. So, is there some secret to it? how do I get sound to go to /dev/dsp? Anyone got a suggestion? Regards, Barry Kauler P.S. could you kindly also send a copy of response to [email protected]
