No, that is just harmless information.  There is no IMDCT acceleration
except for on Sun Solaris.

Though your problems are likely with audio.  Do you have any other
application open that would prevent the audio playback from working?

Which version of ALSA do you have?

You can try to change the playback device setting, it's set to "default"
not, another common names is "pcm".  See 'man oglerc' for instruction
on how to change this.
Not recomended but another thing to try might be to change the audio
system from ALSA to OSS, using ALSA's OSS emulation mode.
