This is because of the (inline) MMX assembler.  It's detected by a
simple case on the architecture triple in the configure file.  This
needs updating to work with x86_64.

I've made these changes in CVS now but that woun't be of much help to
you immediately, perhaps you could send an email to Matthias Saou who
has done those RPM packages.
