saving frame as jpg?

I have used xv in the past to grab windows and save
them
as JPG files. But I can't seem to be able to do it
with 
ogle video output. The thing that I can't understand
is
that if I run a DVD and pause it, grab the window,
then
repeat, the two files I save are identical, and always

the last one saved. 
Is there a way to grab a paused frame output from
ogle?
