Ack!!! Don't spoil that Debian system with one of those nasty RPMs!! There's got to be a better way, and thanks to Debian's advanced and yet distributed package management tools, there is! Add the following to your /etc/apt/sources.list file: deb http://marillat.free.fr/ unstable main This should give you access to all sorts of goodies that can't be kept in the main Debian tree, for one reason or another. Among them is the libdvdcss2 package. Give that a good old fashion apt-get and you should be on your way to the promise land. -Sean On Wed, 2004-01-28 at 00:25, Elizabeth Dodd wrote: > On Tue, 27 Jan 2004 21:50, Bj|rn Englund wrote: > > Wed Jan 21 2004, david wrote: > > > Hi > > > I have installed the deb packages ogle-gui 0.8.2-6 and ogle-mmx 0.8.2-11 > > > on my debian. > > > how can i install the libdvdcss? > > > get rpm (I've got 1.2.5-3) and convert with alien > (alien pkg1.2.3.4.rpm) should just convert to deb > Liz -- Sean Kellogg 1st Year - UW Law School c: 206.498.8207 e: [email protected] w: http://students.washington.edu/skellogg/ <-- UPDATED "When the only tool you have is a hammer, you tend to treat everything as if it were a nail." -- Abraham Maslow
