Somehow the wrong color conversion routine seems to be used.
Are you running this as remote X or locally on :0 ?

Does the titlebar of the ogle video window 
contain 'XShm' or just 'Ogle v0.9.2' ?

Could you list the output from 'xdpyinfo'?

Also try to get Xv running if you can (depends on what gfxcard / version
of XFree86 you use and the settings in the configuration file for xfree).

You can also try changing to a colordepth of 16bit to see if the
color conversion works at that bitdepth.
