Have you tried the rpms that are on http://www.dtek.chalmers.se/groups/dvd/redhat.shtml ?

This is the version compiled without alsa support:
http://www.dtek.chalmers.se/groups/dvd/rh71/ogle-0.9.2-ogle1.i586.rpm
Can you install that or there another problem with it?
