Perhaps you have a buggy audio driver? You can try setting the env. variable OGLE_OSS_RESET_BUG that enables some workarounds. I.e. Do 'export OGLE_OSS_RESET_BUG=1' in the terminal you run ogle from or simply 'env OGLE_OSS_RESET_BUG=1 ogle --debug /dev/dvd'. Håkan
