Video playback on DVDs

Hi

I am trying to play a dvd film on ogle and it works which is more than can be 
said for Kaffene, Xine, Mplayer etc. The problem is it is jerky both in sound 
and vision. I am running Suse 9.0 with a Nvidia Gforce 4 video card with 64mb 
memory.

I get the felling that this has happeed before and has been solved, but how.
