I installed the new nvidia driver for the card last night and as you say
Ogle no longer needs any settings now and the default .oglerc works
fine.

This still happens with the half D1 material and I just have to stretch
down the Ogle frame a fraction of a mm to display it correctly. Not a
problem of course.

On a separate point I too get the scrolling entries:-

** libdvdread: CHECK_VALUE failed in nav_read.c:202 ***
*** for dsi->dsi_gi.zero1 == 0 ***

which I've read up on in the ogle-user archive so I suppose it must be a
feature of the software/firmware in this Philips DVDrecorder and models
using the same software etc. I just mention it for the benefit of any
others concerned about the entry.
