From the build log, I have this : checking for alsa version... found 0.5.x configure: WARNING: Disabling ALSA support, install a 0.9.x version Which is definitely not normal since I had the FC2 alsa-lib-devel package installed at the time of the build. Seems like detection of libs is not broken just for libdvread (no one answered the many posts about x86_64 libdvdnav detection in ogle's configure script). I'll try another compile and see what happens in the config.log.
