For some reason now the ogle player is playing the DVD, unfortunately I'm not able to see any video, I only see audio. It seems the plater that shows the video displays itself and has the proper size to show the video, but it simply stays black. Do you know why this is happening? ------------------------------------------------------------- Respectfully, Kalyan Vishnubhatla Electrical and Computer & Systems Engineering Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute [email protected] AIM: KaptainKal1 -----Original Message----- From: Bj|rn Englund [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, August 02, 2004 1:13 PM To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Ogle-user] Ogle Mon Aug 02 2004, Kalyan Vishnubhatla wrote: > I'm using Fedora Core 2 and whenever I goto open disc on the latest version > of Ogle, it just shuts down. I found that the rpm for ogle-0.9.2 at freshrpms (for fedora 2) isn't conpiled with alsa support. And when run with the oss output driver against the alsa oss-compat driver ogle crashes when trying to open an spdif output. The ogle-0.9.2-ogle1alsa rpm from www.dtek.chalmers.se/~dvd works ok when running with the alsa output driver. (both with spdif and analog). /Bj|rn
