transcoder which maintains DVD format?

I am storing DVD images on a server and using ogle to play them. The
only problem is they are fairly large. I would like to be able to
transcode the video streams to mpeg-4 or other compression scheme better
than the original mpeg-2 used for DVDs. But I don't want to give up the
DVD menus. So I want a tool which will open the dvd image, transcode the
video streams, and create a new dvd image which ogle can play.

So, does ogle support playback of other video compression types, like
mpeg 4? And, does anyone know of a tool or collection of tools which can
easily do this? Ideally I would like something I can point at a
directory full of dvd images and have it transcode them all.

Thanks,
