I had some issues with it playing some of the more recent dvd's until I installed a lib that I didn't have (can't recall the name). After that it has played everything I have thrown at it. The symptons were shortly after accessing the dvd the program dies with no indication why. I wish i could recall what the lib? was because it was not brought in by the dependencies in deb-lenny.
