Florian (or anyone else reading this),

Is anyone aware of plans by the Academy to integrate some kind of
MXF-style metadata container in their plans for image interchange formats?

The first few iterations of MXF were more good intention than practical
implementations, but similar to the varied implementations of TIFF, many
vendors seemed to reject the idea of standardizing on a container format.

There is considerable pressure where I work to come up with an industry
standard interchange format for digital media files, but I'm curious to
know if the Academy is listening.

cheers,
