sigh, sourceforge sucks. (Re: sfwiki)

Actually, the problem seems to be inherent to sf. I tried to install moin
and found out all their python installations are borked (as in, distutils
doesn't work). Add to this the fact that the site goes unavailable an
average 3 times a week, and cvs another 5.

If we're set on moving the repository from cvs to svn somewhere else, why
not move the site too? As I already offered, if we can find some hosting
with Zope and Plone I can set up a site in less than one week that does what
our current site does (news, screenshots, wiki and documentation) *plus*
what sf does (bugtracker), that would leave only the mailing lists.

I could offer to host it in one of two places, but neither have a good pipe
(http://www.laranja.org:8080 is a plone site in one of them,
http://www.solidaritynetword.org/ is in the other one - both are reportedly
very slow when viewed from the US).

Our other option is http://zettai.net/ZopeHosting/ which is not free; they
charge $5.40 per month ($6 for the cheapest plan which covers all our needs,
minus 10% because we're non-profit). However I can't fund this because
Brazilian exchange rate is currently very messed up, and Micah can't either
because, well, he's a student :-) is anyone willing to chip in this small
ammount so that we have a professionally-hosted site, in exchange to us
displaying an image that says "hosting donated by Foo, inc"?
