This sounds a lot like what driver messages were designed for, but so
far those only support app to server messages, not server to app. You could
define a new event type and send it with post_event, but this seems like something
that should be the job of a separate daemon like cardmgr, not pgserver.

Alternatively, if you want to post them to picogui.org I think you should be able
to log in and create a screenshot object, then have lalo or I approve it for publishing.
