GROPs what are these.

What are grops? And where findith I, if findith I, the docs on these
wonderfull things that make the much of pg tick?

Me other inquiry is, how does one display just text that is non editable
with out using a canvas? Like one might use to display email.

I found a solution but I think it was bad.
