listitems and selection

hi all (anybody?),

inspite of my latest try to make a fool of myself (and letting averybody
know),
i have another question:

i have several listitems, there are two ways to activate them:
- clicking on them
- having code setting PG_WP_ON

how do i need to setup and code the event handler for these listitems to
be able to tell if they were clicked on or activated by code?
