I've got some "issues" with picogui.
Pros:
-small, fast, free
Cons:
-it has a strange API and not too much docs
-it features strange concepts (the overlapping stuff, the display =
manager stuff or how it was called)
-it uses a socket to talk with the server (I'd like a messagebox, ok can =
be done)
=20
These are no big issues, but they kept me from using it.
What I'd like to have/do would be=20
-more abstraction of the OS
-rewrite the API

Currently there is no open source widget toolkit available for deeply =
embedded systems, i.e. which are not running linux (but e.g. ecos, =
ecos.sourceware.org).=20

The only one which seems like it could play this role is IMO picoGUI, =
but it needs quite some work.
