OK, very nice code change. Yes, it seems to work. I've tried this
patch with 1.0.2 (that's what I have on my Ubuntu system), and it
applies without problem. There is no segfault anymore. All that's
left is to convert a video to DV and try that on my my Mac with
iMovie. But that will take (much) more time.
