CVS migration to Mercurial

Hiho,

I now will start with the repository migration to Mercurial. As Andrew 
suggested I will do a cvs->svn conversion first, and the convert the 
svn->hg.

So please don't commit any changes to cvs from now on, otherwise commits
may be missing in the hg repository (as well I'll stop the cvs service 
asap).

I'll drop a note when the conversion has been finished.
