I recently upgraded my PC from an x86 to an x86_64 X 4 architecture and
well used transcode recipes started segfaulting.

After a bit of investigation I found that it is the "-j t,l,b,r" switch
that's causing the problem; the segfault occurs if t <> b or l <> r.

This is using transcode 1.0.7.

I have read the wiki about reporting problems and I know I have a lot more
information to provide using the latest CVS version but please bear with
me, I'll follow up and provide this information shortly (I'll probably
need the weekend to do this) but I thought it better to air the problem as
early as possible as it may already be known.
