The new `input' option of the import_v4l2 module should probably do the
trick:

transcode -x v4l2=input=list,null [...]

to find the right input

transcode -x v4l2=input=XXX,null [...]

where XXX is the input name found with the previous command.

Of course be prepared for bugs :)

Yep.

transcode's v4l import module until 1.1.2 included lacks any input
selection (input source, norm, tuner frequency) *at all*.
It was introduced with the enhanced version I've just described (and
pushed), and which will be shipped with 1.1.3 and beyond.
