Yes, it is significant, because transcode won't be able to run without 
it.  If you built transcode from source, I'm surprised you're having a 
problem with this file.  This file is dependent on liba52.so, which I 
believe is from the a52dec software package.

Check to see if you have liba52.so somewhere on your system.  Also check 
to see if the a52_decore.so file is on your system, but for some reason 
wasn't properly copied over.
