I'm on ubuntu 9.04 / tvtime: Installed: 1.0.2-1

Any pointers on setting up this tuner? tvtime is looking for
/dev/video0, but this tuner does not seem to create the device.

I do get these device files:

$ ls -l /dev/dvb/adapter0/
total 0
crw-rw----+ 1 root video 212, 4 2009-05-28 15:53 demux0
crw-rw----+ 1 root video 212, 5 2009-05-28 15:53 dvr0
crw-rw----+ 1 root video 212, 3 2009-05-28 15:53 frontend0
crw-rw----+ 1 root video 212, 7 2009-05-28 15:53 net0

My user does belong to the "video" group.

$ groups | grep -q video && echo "found"
found

I did install firmware for this card:

$ ls -l /lib/firmware/dvb-fe-xc5000-1.1.fw
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 12332 2009-05-28 15:01 /lib/firmware/dvb-fe-xc5000-1.1.fw

I apologize for my inexperience with Linux TV.

Thanks.
