Initial Comment:
The colours in the image are not correct. Red tones look blue, green tones look pink and blue tones look green.

This only happen with tvtime, and not other tv applications like kdetv.

Using debian lenny 2.6.24-1-amd64 and tvtime from debian/multimedia repositories.

Just open the tvtime config file in .tvtime/tvtime.xml and check the hue
values,mine was somehow reset to 100,setting it back to 50 solves the color
issue.

I had a similar problem which was solved just by reducing the horizontal
resolutions from Input Configuration. My tv capture card doesn't support
the highest resolution however using my old nvidia graphics card, tvtime
would work just fine (of course the image size would stay at 768 pixels).
When I first started tvtime after upgrading to a new ati graphics card I
would get the colors messed up. I don't know if it is a tvtime bug or ati
driver's bug but I thought I should just mention it here in case somebody
can fix this.

Resolved: Just deleting all config files (incluiding
/etc/tvtime/tvtime.xml) solved the problem.
Maybe the problem was in debian package, as purging it didn't delete these
files.

Forgot to add that I'm using nvidia binary driver ver 169.12.
