Initial Comment:
I can't get tvtime to open. I changed a setting on tvtime and it closed when I try to re open it it closes again. I tried taking the program off and downloading it again. I am very new to ubuntu and an not sure how to make this tvtime program work. The program was working very well and I was looking through the setting when it shut down.
Any help would be greatly appreicated

Same problem here on Ubuntu Linux 10.04. There is some conflict with my USB
headset. If it's plugged in tvtime just starts and immediately quits.
Unplug the headset and it runs fine again. Here is the output from tvtime
-v with the headset plugged in:

Message:
Hello all, I have the same problem, and solved it - unplugging the
USB-Logitech-webcam.

HISTORY: Initial start point

Under Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit, everything worked well. Then upgraded to Ubuntu
10.4 RC 1, and tvtime started and quit immediately again.

I removed and reinstalled tvtime, to no avail.

Finally, I did a terminal verbose, and it came to my attention that my
external USB-Logictech webcam was listed. Unplugging the webcam, and tvtime
works again.

Also when re-plugging in the webcam _during_ the use of tvtime, no
problem. However, the next time tvtime would not start again until the cam
is unplugged.

My tvttime-v output:

Open a terminal and run:
$ tvtime -v

If you can tell what's wrong, try editing ~/.tvtime/tvtime.xml.
If not, post the output and we might help.
