Hi,

Just a general question for my understanding :

How are formats handled where we dont have a UCI or VfW/ACM codec at all ?

Is it 100% clear in any case how the data had to be muxed into MCF here ?
Like fixed rules, so that every programmer knows what he has to do to make
spec compliant files, even with hardcoded muxers like mpa2mcf.exe ? Or is
there room for 'interpretation' , leading to incompatibilities ??

Does the MPEG container give us important info, like what frames are
I/P/b-frames, etc , or do we need a MPEG2 UCI codec to be able to find out ?
How about AC3/AAC audio ? And what do we do if we wnated to make the muxing
process based on DirectShow, with a MCF Dshow muxer ? Will it give us all
the info we need to mux the streams into MCF correctly ?

Sorry if these questions are stupid.
