Well as far as I am concerned my first goal was to
integrate OGM support within VirtualDub (I already
made CLI tools for creating OGM files, but a wonderful
program like VirtualDub is far more interesting to
play with ;) ).
At user request (on virtualdub.everwicked.com) I was
then proposed to add a PNG support : BMP files are
fines, but PNG ones costs less bytes for same quality
:)

Finally I joined pulco-citron (author of
VirtualDubMpg2) and Belgabor (author fo VirtualDubAVS)
in this SF project to build a better tool ;)

Now that OGM / PNG integration is done (well there may
remain bugs / problems, but important parts have been
done) I am giving a look on other integrations within
VirtualDub (like UCI and MCF).
Of course the current state of those technologies
(specs not frozen / libraries being developped) make
this a bit slower / more difficult than other tasks,
but still interesting to do ;)
