Luigi,

i am sorry but i cant believe this, not at all. A license contract like
the GNU GPL license is valid EVERYWHERE on this planet, and it
DEFINITELY IS already the written permission to publish software you are
asking for. This has to be valid also in Italy, unless a written and
signed contract is not a contract in Italy.

Please understand that in an average i get 5 - 10 inquiries from all
around this planet, Japan, Korea, USA, France, etc. per month on all the
projects i am admin for. Over time this gets very annoying, as the GNU
GPL license is definitely handling the rights to distribute the software
already, and very clearly, and in written form. This is simply wasting
my time. I can only imagine that Avery Lee, the creator of the original
Virtualdub, is sending a predefined answer to requests like this, if he
sends one at all ... most inquiries ( he may get dozens ) most probably
go directly into the trash .....
