Still no fix

Hi,

I am trying to use an old Creative Instant Webcam with the gspca module that
ships with the 2.6.29 kernel and almost all I get are problems. It does not
matter if I use my laptop with an ATI video card or my desktop with an
nVidia card. I have tried using the webcam as the only device on the USB
hub. Funny thing is that "mplayer tv:// -tv
driver=v4l2:width=352:height=288:device=/dev/video0"
works properly.

On the desktop PC, lsusb gives me:
