   Dear VideoLAN users,

   the VideoLAN team is pleased to announce a new release of the
standard DVD decryption library, libdvdcss 1.2.10.

   The most prominent changes in this release are:
    * DVD drive autodetection
    * new dvdcss_is_scrambled() function
    * ship a .pc file
    * accept "X:\" as a device name, as well as "X:"
    * various failure recovery improvements
    * various bug fixes

   The libdvdcss source code as well as .deb packages suitable for all
versions of Debian and Ubuntu can be downloaded from the following
place:
