Dear libdvbpsi users and packagers,

A pre-release of libdvbpsi is available. Its version number is 1.0.0_pre3.
Issues
found in the previous pre-release have been fixed and are now offered for
testing
by users of this library. Please test and report issues.

If no regressions are found in the next coming weeks, then this will become
the 1.0.0 version.

Libdvbpsi has been cleaned up, API's made more consistent, descriptors
and tables added. Please test it thoroughly for any regression.

Libdvbpsi features:

   * Bouquet Association Table (BAT), decoder and generator.
   * Conditional Access Table (CAT), decoder and generator.
   * EPG Information Table (EIT), decoder and generator.
   * Network Information Table (NIT), decoder and generator.
   * Program Association Table (PAT), decoder and generator.
   * Program Map Table (PMT), decoder and generator.
   * Section Description Table (SDT), decoder and generator.
   * Splice Information Section Table (SIS), decoder and generator.
   * TOT Table (TOT), decoder and generator.
   * All MPEG 2 descriptors, decoders and generators.
   * Supported platforms GNU/Linux, *BSD, Windows and MacOS X.
   * Version 0.2.0 and up have LGPL v2.1 license for easy integration
in applications.
   * Versions prior to 0.2.0 are released under GPLv2 later version
under LGPL v2.1


Changes between 0.2.2 and 1.0.0_pre3:

 * new example application dvbinfo: use 'dvbinfo -h' for more
information on commandline options
 * updated documentation (new api howto)
 * add log callback (remove fprintf's)
 * make API more consistent, see doxygen "howto-new-api" section for
converting your code:
   - introduces dvbpsi_t typedef
   - removed dvbpsi_handle
   - changed argument order
   - changed table functions prototypes
 * EIT table generation and decoding fixes
 * RST table decoding and generation
 * new descriptor 0x40, 0x41, 0x49, 0x4a, 0x4b, 0x4f, 0x50 and 0x7c
(decoder and generators)
 * descriptor 0x03: added variable_rate_audio_indicator
 * new descriptor (ATSC): 0x13, 0x14, 0x62, 0x66, 0x73, 0x83 decoders
 * ATSC tables EIT, ETT, MGT, STT and VCT decoders
