VLC 0.7.0-test3 for iPaq

The VideoLAN team is happy to announce version 0.7.0-test1 of VLC media
player and streaming server for iPAQ. This is a test release in 
preparing for an official release, probably 0.7.1.

      *Please test intensively.*

The VideoLAN VLC Media Player is a free media player released under the
GPL and is capable of receiving network streams over udp, rtp (ipv4,
ipv6, unicast, multicast) and through local inputs (files, v4l). It
supports many codecs on many platforms. See

VLC 0.7.0 also features :

      * GUI:
	- Enhanced GTK2 based GUI called PDA (instead of familiar).
	- The SDL dependency has been removed video ouput
           is generated through X11 directly now.
	- Gettext support for all languagues supported by VLC
	  (de en_GB fr it ja nl no ru sv)

      * Streaming Server:
	- Streaming server (audio and video) through sout module
      	- Improved MPEG TS muxer
      	- Proper PTS/DTS generation in the transcoding module

      * Input:
        	- Support for Video4Linux on iPaq

      * Misc:
      	- Service Location Protocol support through OpenSLP module

      * Codec:
      	- New codecs

Known problems :

      * GUI
        - Transcoding tabpage does not work
        - Preferences tabpage not working

      * Binary size of VLC is too large

      * Dependencies in package not uptodate,
        - vlc dependencies: libid3tag, libslp, libflag
        - familiar dependencies: libmad0, libpng12-0
