Yes sorry, I first went to do a PR at https://github.com/videolan/vlc  .  I
realize not the official repo but the note on that page directs you to the
out of date: https://wiki.videolan.org/Sending_Patches_VLC/   . The wiki
has account creation turned off so could not fix it once I realized.   I
understand it may be taken down and replaced with another documentation
solution soon however.
