VLC 4.x on Hyprland

Hi VLC developers,

Have any of you built/used the Hyprland[1] tiling compositor for Wayland?

Out of sheer curiosity I built it on my Debian bookworm workstation a few
days ago.

I tried to run the Qt version of VLC HEAD on it and all I got was a white
window.

'nvlc' and 'cvlc' still work fine, so I wonder if maybe I am missing
something from Qt itself?
