Interested in Implement DVD-Audio deciphering Project Idea

Hello everyone,

I am Abhay in my third year of B.Tech from IIT Mandi pursuing Computer
Science. I am excited to contribute to vlc media player as it is my
favourite media player among all and wanted to start my contribution
journey from vlc.

As it is mentioned in this page
http://www.thescrapyard.org/software/libdvdcpxm.html, there are licensing
issues. So, are those issues fixed ? Am I supposed to work on this project
idea?

If yes, then could you please guide me with more details? What exactly
should I need to do? and on which code part I should focus on?
