Dear VLC Development Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I am writing to suggest a feature that could significantly improve the
immersive experience of watching movies in VLC: optional haptic feedback
during video playback.

Many modern devices include strong vibration motors and haptic engines. If
VLC could analyze the audio track (particularly low-frequency sounds such
as explosions, bass, or action sequences) and convert them into
synchronized haptic feedback, users would be able to physically feel parts
of the movie while watching it.

This feature could be implemented as an optional setting in the playback
controls, allowing users to:

- Enable or disable haptic feedback
- Adjust vibration intensity
- Choose whether vibration reacts to bass, volume peaks, or specific sound
frequencies

Such a feature could make VLC stand out as a more immersive media player,
especially for mobile users who watch movies on their phones or with
connected haptic devices.

VLC is already one of the most powerful and flexible media players
available, and adding haptic feedback could push the experience even
further.
