2.0 Problems

VLC 2.0

I have several problems that are probably mine, however, I can't figure them out.

With VLC versions prior to 2.0 there was a small VLC media player that I parked at the lower right of my screen. When I played audio or video the correct actions happened. i.e., when the video was finished the full screen VLC disappeared and I had my normal Mac screen appeared.

Not true for 2.0. When the video finishes the screen turns black and stays that way until I type Cmd-F.

This causes the video screen to become the VLC media player. Thyis player is way different from previous versions. It resembles a Finder file window in some respects and it becomes ever larger as further videos are played.

If I delete the history lines and use the bottom right corner to shrink it to its smallest size (still much larger than the media player from past VLC versions).

The growing process starts over with subsequent videos I play.

Are there preference settings that will cause 2.0 to look and act like previous versions?

Kind Regards,
