Freebox TV not working

Hi all.

My isp is comcast.

The VLC media -> Internet -> Freebox TV

displays no stations.

So, I googled, and found a message on the forum

responding to another OP with the same problem. The response is:

and the original OP seeking an answer claims that that worked.

Well, for me, it does not work at all.

What I get from the above URL is an FM station, not sure which, and
an error banner stating:

Your input can't be opened:

VLC is unable to open the MRL
' http://mafreebox.freebox.fr/freeboxtv/playlist.m3u '. Check the
log for details.

I have no idea where the log is, as I cannot find it in ~/.vlc or in
~/.vlc/cache

nor is there a log in /var/log for vlc.
